Billy Nye, senior Pastor

Billy is married to Jessica and together they enjoy chasing around their six energetic and passionate children. He has served in various teaching and ministry positions before joining CCM as a member in 2022. In late 2025, Billy was ordained as an Assistant Pastor at CCM, and in May 2026, was called to be CCM's Senior Pastor. Educated at John Brown University (2007) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (2015), Billy realized he was called to pastoral ministry while serving as a teacher in northern Mexico for two years. Birding, playing guitar, hiking, and reading good books are among his favorite things to do.

Sam Shaner, Church Administrator

Originally from Virginia, she and her husband, Pete, lived in Clemson, South Carolina for 4 years before moving to Milwaukee in 2024 for Pete’s job with RUF. Sam and Pete have a 3 year old daughter named Harper, a 6 month old named Levi, and a dog named Minnie. Sam enjoys anything outdoors, experiencing new coffee shops, and exploring MKE with her family!

olivia frise, Director of music

Olivia is the director of music at Christ Church Milwaukee. A California native, she and her husband Matt spent the first decade of married life moving about the country in hot pursuit of his career as an academic philosopher. Life took them to upstate NY, St. Louis, Texas, and back to sunny California before Matt accepted a position as a philosophy professor at MSOE in 2022. Olivia and Matt enjoy making music, playing board games, reading, creating home, and building community with their two brave, wild boys.
