Billy Nye, interim director of worship

Billy is married to Jessica and together they enjoy chasing around their six energetic and passionate children. He has served in various teaching and non-denominational ministry positions before joining CCM (and the PCA!) in 2022. Licensed by the Wisconsin presbytery in 2023, Billy is currently pursuing ordination as a Teaching Elder. Billy and his family currently live in Kenosha, where they hope to start a church plant in 2027. Birding, playing guitar, hiking, and reading good books are among his favorite things to do.

Sam Shaner, Church Administrator

Originally from Virginia, she and her husband, Pete, lived in Clemson, South Carolina for 4 years before moving to Milwaukee in 2024 for Pete’s job with RUF. Sam and Pete have a one year old daughter named Harper and a dog named Minnie. Sam enjoys anything outdoors, experiencing new coffee shops, and exploring MKE with her family!

olivia frise, Director of music

Olivia is the director of music at Christ Church Milwaukee. A California native, she and her husband Matt spent the first decade of married life moving about the country in hot pursuit of his career as an academic philosopher. Life took them to upstate NY, St. Louis, Texas, and back to sunny California before Matt accepted a position as a philosophy professor at MSOE in 2022. Olivia and Matt enjoy making music, playing board games, reading, creating home, and building community with their two brave, wild boys.
