July Missionary of the Month - Nargiza Bekmurodova- CRU
Nargiza grew up in Central Asia desiring to be a devoted Muslim, however God put people in her path who shared Jesus, and God won the battle for her heart. After many years of enduring persecution from her own father and the government, Nargiza left her home country. She now lives in Turkey and works full-time with Cru, ministering to refugees. Turkey hosts the largest refugee population in the world.
Nargiza asks for prayer for:
*That her upcoming participation in an Institute of Biblical Studies course with other staff will be a time of refreshment, spiritual growth and enjoyment *Praise that some local staff and expats were recently able to take a vision trip to Nargiza's birth country where doors are opening for the Gospel for the first time in many years
*God to open the spiritual eyes and heal the blindness of the people - refugees and locals - and for a spiritual movement to start among the people
*That her appeal process for denied Turkish citizenship will finally be approved
